EQUIP
 EQUIP is developing Christians worldwide with the skills needed to provide leadership to their communities, workplaces, and churches, to ultimately fulfill the Great Commission. Their goal is to train two million leaders worldwide by the end of 2007.
When John Maxwell and a few friends launched EQUIP in 1996, their vision was to equip international Christian leaders to effectively serve the growing Body of Christ.
It was their conviction that strong, effective leaders must be developed worldwide if the Great Commission is to be fulfilled. The Great Commission is the mandate Jesus gave us. Leadership development is the model that he demonstrated for us. During His public ministry, Jesus spent the greatest amount of His time training a group of leaders to impact the world.
Since 1996, EQUIP has been serving Christian leaders around the world who have great leadership potential, but limited access to much-needed training and resources. EQUIP is absolutely convinced that if Christian leaders around the world are trained, resourced, and encouraged, there is no limit to what can be accomplished in fulfilling the Great Commission!
