GO into ALL the World...
4k Logo smallWhat is 4K?
4K creates a new way to see the people of the world and to respond to their needs.

4K is a global initiative of Youth With A Mission that uses innovative concepts, teams and tools to provide a new way to see the people of the world and to respond to their needs.

4K was developed to help the global body of Christ to focus, engage and cooperate in fulfilling the Great Commission in this generation.

Hear 4K architect, David Hamilton speak about 4K mapping at the Call2All Orlando Congress:

 Training Opportunities
Strategy Coordinator Training Opportunities 2008-9 (33KB) 8/14/2008, Strategy Coordinator Training will train you to look at a whole people group, 4K zone or city and equip you to answer the question: "What actually needs to be done for ALL of this people group, 4K Zone or city to have access to the Gospel and have multiple Church Planting Movements (CPMs) among them?"

4K Maps and Tools

4K team are developing communications and data tools to increase the access and usability of 4K.

A web service that dynamically generates maps is already developed and being beta tested.  This is the first step in developing our 4K web based user interface that will provide access to all of the 4K data over the internet, free of charge.

A data input system is being designed to will make it possible for 4K to begin receiving information from outside sources.  Communications tools and an interactive 4K web based community are also under development.

4K Concepts

4k LogoThere are four basic concepts that are foundational for 4K:

1) A Biblical World View

2) Call to ALL - It is the call of ALL Christians to actively participate in taking the gospel to ALL people, to ALL places, and to ALL spheres of ALL societies.

3) Where we are not - "suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?" Luke 15 v 4 NIV. As a very practical aspect of our calling "to go into all the world," we must focus primarily not on where we are, but on where we are not.

4) ABC - 369 - This is a new approach to the use of geography. Population limits are used to re-organize existing civil divisions into a unified system of areas called "Omega Zones." Based on the availability of the gospel in each area, different limits on population gently focus attention on where the gospel is needed the most while still including the entire world.

  • In an area where the gospel is not available (World A), the population is limited to 3 million.
  • In an area where the gospel is partially available (World B), the population is limited to 6 million.
  • In an area where the gospel is readily available (World C), the population is limited to 9 million.
