»Hyderabad Conference
In what could be touted as a historic event in India, the call2business Congress kicked off in the hi-tech city of Hyderabad on August 12th. A confluence of sorts, the event saw market place leaders from around the world as far from Switzerland, United States, Australia, Hong Kong etc, and Indian delegates from around 20 states.

August has been an exciting month!
In Damoh, 493 pastors came together to learn and discuss how the self-funded model will work for them. Multiple pastors gave testimonies of how this model has already opened up doors for their communication and given them more respect with the people they are meeting with. We had about 380 pastors sign up to become representatives. This event truly wouldn’t have been possible without the unity of the body of Christ!
In Hyderabad, India, we gathered for the first major call2business conference. We were encouraged with the opportunity we had to serve and facilitate groups coming together and partnering. Some people have said this may have been the largest assembly of Christian business ministries in India. Also, we had key business people who were encouraged in their marketplace calling and shared specific examples about how God is using them right where they are to extend the Kingdom of God.
The testimony below was from an attendee at the conference and summed up our goals very well.
" Through our involvement in equipping and mobilizing a growing church-planting movement in India, it's become clear that business generation is critical to self-sustainability of the rural church. Our first two years of work in this direction have been slow and yielded little. The Call2Business conference in Hyderabad probably pushed our work ahead five years at least, in terms of the networks and contacts we developed, and the teaching and encouragement we received. Through this conference we have new relationships with brothers and sisters who are ahead of us in this effort and who are willing to walk together with us as we learn. What a huge encouragement!”
We continue to receive numerous reports from different ministries about people wanting to collaborate in many cities around India. Call2business wants to serve, facilitate and support all of these groups!

We were blessed to serve call2all again at a regional conference in Indonesia. We could tell it was different the first day we walked in the doors. There was an excitement and anticipation in the air. I was not sure what it was but it was good to see. The steering committee in Indonesia really owned the congress. It was not one we were putting on, it was clear it was something they were doing and we were there to serve. At the commitment time every UUPG on the list we prepared was adopted. Every UUPG in Indonesian on our list has someone focusing on it, that is truly an amazing fact. They also assigned a follow up committee to visit every UUPG before the LA call2all and will give a report on how they will reach each one.
The main difference is a concept they are working on called CTC (Community Transformation Centers). They go into a village and find the man of peace. They sit with him, become his friend and listen to him. Through the friendship God shows them the marketplace and educational needs and together they plan on how to serve their village. This has caused the call2all executive team to approach the follow up and work differently. A true partnership is being created between the 7 call2all focuses and the 7 spheres of social influence. Something we have prayed and talked about for years now and we are seeing it work out at a country level.
I am more excited than ever to be working alongside some of the Lord’s servants on these congresses. We see how this could and should affect our presentations and challenges in call2alls in the future.

The call2business team has been blessed to connect with marketplace leaders all over the world this summer and what we are hearing back is like an echo: "God is moving in the hearts of business leaders". From South Africa to India, we are seeing business leaders gaining understanding of their calling and responsibility to extend the Kingdom of God.
Partners Worldwide (www.partnersworldwide.org), an organization we have an alliance with, is a great example. In August they gathered about 20 leaders to discuss business opportunities.
God is opening doors in places like the Philippines and even Pakistan for real social and economic change!

International nonprofit organization Association Emmanuel in partnership with the "Success" Center organized the seminar Principle of Biblical Entrepreneurship BE-1 with author, Patrice Tsague. Another BE-1 seminar was organized at God Embassy with Pastor Sunday Adelaja.
The seminar at God Embassy had in attendance 125 people from different cities of Ukraine and Russia. Throughout the history of Nehemiah Project and "Success" Center it was the biggest class and it was the first time when the teachers were people from different countries.
The seminar went very well and all of the participants said that the concept of Biblical Entrepreneurship was something that totally changed their life and business. Many of them already failed in their business by lessening the teachings of prosperity and fast enrichment. Biblical Entrepreneurship is a strong foundation for building the Kingdom business with understanding that the main purpose of the business are people and their needs and the profit is the result of productivity and responsibility.

Call2all and call2business were honored to be a part of Global Day of Prayer on May 23rd and also a conference beforehand. Some of the highlights were a panel discussion with Brett Johnson and Ed Silvoso on God TV, launching Graham Power’s new book (Transform your Work Life), walking and praying on the map, and participating in the Global Day of Prayer with thousands of people from hundreds of countries. The business breakouts were again enjoyable as we continue to help people understand the calling to business and how we can empower them in that calling.

We were blessed to participate in two call2all congresses in one week. It was an exciting and humbling time to be with committed believers from over 20 countries. It was encouraging to see the bride of Christ come together in unity as we heard together what the Father is saying to His Church.
We had the major themes: Church presence, Mapping, Orality, Compassion, UUPGs. The presentations at these congresses were like water to the thirsty. The business track continues to serve here. There is a hunger to know the calling in the Marketplace and how to serve the body of Christ. The presenters offered their service by paying their own way and serving with the focus that the needs of others are more important then their own needs. We received comment after comment of appreciation. The most rewarding and challenging comment was “Thanks so much for coming, when you come back teach us how to apply these principles that we may disciple the nation and see it Transformed.”

»Micro-credit Project Makes a Difference…
Stretching a dollar…. we all know the importance of that don’t we? Here it’s the Guinea franc being stretched to the limit. With loans as small as $100, both men and women are able to build their small businesses – the key to their survival. Most earn just enough to put rice with vegetables on the table each day, and on a rare occasion, a meal that includes meat. Working alongside pastors and key leaders in the local church a micro-loan program was launched. The first ten loans were given to various believers running small businesses, some of whom also consider their business as a ministry. Take John, a tailor, for example, who received a loan to buy a special 'finishing' machine for his business. He uses his shop not only to support his family but also to train young women how to sew. He is investing in 375 mostly uneducated girls by taking them off the street and its inherent dangers to give them another option. He teaches them to read and write and, at the same time, gives them the skills to support themselves and their families. He shows them compassion and helps them realize they have worth. Many of these girls are Muslims. John is Jesus’ hands and feet to a hurting world in Guinea!

It is time to repent and come home to our creator and savior. Paul Eshleman and Mark Anderson did an outstanding job leading us through the issues of reaching not only our nation but the new list unreached people groups in the world. The call2business track was packed with top quality presenters as we continue to strive to address the issues of affirming the calling to business, confirming with training, and Empowering those attending to GO! It is our goal to mobilize 200,000 business leaders globally to embrace this mission statement: "We exist to birth, grow and operate business to model and extend the kingdom of God."
One of the highlights of the conference was the Chick-fil-A foundation and local franchise owners who not only believe the business mission but explained how they live and model it daily in their stores.
We continue to reach out to the world as we head to the Middle East in April for the next call2all and South Africa in May to participate in the GDOP (Global Day of Prayer) www.gdop2010.com. From there we are off to South America and also planning trips to Australia and India.
