10 Things You Need to Know Before Coming to Long Beach| November 22, 2011
Here are 10 things you need to know before coming to Long Beach:
  1. Registration opens at 8:00am on Tuesday, November 29th. When you arrive, check into your hotel and then head over to the Long Beach Convention Center Lobby to check in.

  2. Exhibits will be open during registration. Be sure to stop by and see some of these amazing exhibits!

  3. If you have made reservations at a local hotel, you may wish to double-check the arrival and departure dates on your confirmation, or call your hotel to verify. In the event of an error, doing this in advance will simply your arrival into Long Beach.

  4. To “kick off” the first session we will have a special feature! Be sure you’re seated for the opening session of the Congress at 1:00pm.

  5. Luncheons with some of the key speakers will be going on during the Congress. You can signup for these at registration. There will be limited seating so come early and check-in so you can sign-up and secure your spot!

  6. The weather will be in the 60’s -70’s during the day and 50’s at night. Pack accordingly!

  7. There is public transportation available in Long Beach. Some routes are free and some have a fare of $1.25. There are also day passes and 5-day passes available. For information on prices and routes please click HERE. You will also be provided this information in the Congress Booklet you will receive at check-in.

  8. There are several shuttle services that go to the Long Beach Convention Center from Long Beach Airport or LAX.

  9. If you are arriving early or staying after the Congress and want to see what Long Beach has to offer visit the website: www.visitlongbeach.com
