Rapid Movement! | May 29, 2011

…"So that all that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord"… Acts 19:10b.
One of the amazing things that you notice when you read the book of Acts is how fast the truth of the gospel spread. With no modern communication tools, in just 35 years the word of the Lord went to all of Asia minor.
When God’s people cooperate with the Holy Spirit and the command to reach "all" there is extraordinary rapid movement.
This is what is happening as a result of the Indonesian Call2all congress we just completed. Whether it was committing to finish the translation of the Bible into the final languages, or reaching unengaged people groups, leaders rose up and determined not to settle for anything less than "all"!
The same was true for other main themes of evangelism, orality, compassion, business, church planting, etc.
Now in its fourth year, the Call2all movement seems to be hitting a new stride. More people are participating from all around the world, we are seeing dramatic measurable results and our God given goals are becoming more and more clear.
Next week I will send you the final tallies of the actual commitments, along with a report about some activities that are already happening.
With what just happened in Indonesia, the Los Angeles Congress November 29th - December 3rd looks more important than ever. Hundreds of people from around the world are telling us that they are coming to LA. I am exhorting them to register as early as possible. The demand for hotel rooms will be high which will drive up prices, the rates are already rising.
