New Rapid Change! | February 27, 2011 |
Everything seems to be changing rapidly. It’s like we are watching the events of Matthew 24 beginning to unfold right in front of us.
The last 2 weeks have been extraordinary. The entire Middle East is changing. No one is fully certain of the outcome, but it is clear that it will never be the same.
One common trend is that Israel is being abandoned by everyone. At the same time as this political unrest, Christian leaders have been meeting in various forums to strategize on how to advance the Great Commission and bring it to completion.
I have had the privilege over these last few days to be a part of some dynamic meetings, and in some cases to be the host. Last Monday a group of us met in Los Angeles, laying the ground work for our congress November 29 - December 3 of this year.
Many of us were part of a 2 hour TV special on Trinity Broadcasting Network (click here to view, Feb 21st Praise the Lord program). It was a powerful time of synergy between missions agencies, pastors, and leaders in the global church.
It is clear that the global congress coming later this year will be an important gathering and very likely historic.
I know the congress is still more than 8 months away, but if you haven’t registered yet, then I would encourage you to do it now. We have arranged a special price with the Renaissance Hotel that is very reasonable for Long Beach, California. It is right across the street from the Convention Center.
