November 7, 2010 | The Training Every Pastor Should Have |
We have a huge phenomenon in the church across the world: the rapid growth of "church planting movements" or what we can the "simple church". At the same time, most Western church models are in rapid decline and effectiveness.
Almost every week I meet with some Western church leader who is deeply concerned about where their church is headed. These conversations are the same, whether I am in North or South America, Europe or Africa and even in some parts of Asia. This is one of the reasons I launched the Church Pioneering School (CPS), to provide solutions in reaching and discipling the next generation.
The next school is coming up in January at the University of the Nations Kona, Hawaii. If you are a pastor, or you know some who needs this help, this 12 week course is for you.
The CPS is also for those just beginning in Church Planting who want to have the most relevant effective models.
I’ve assembled the most qualified instructors from around the world to join us in Hawaii. Including:
• David Garrison, who wrote the book of CPMs.
• Peter Xu, one of the most effective church planters of our time, having a huge effect across China.
• George Barna, a top Western researcher, author and speaker.
