Armenia Update:

Our day began with worship led by one of the best known Armenian worship leaders. Eyes were focused on the Lord as we entered into this culminating final day.

Throughout the week people had been discussing and praying about the 7 major themes of Call2all, and as we reviewed those themes this morning, everything came together. Groups huddled around the auditorium as the commitment forms were filled out. Our corporate time was interspersed with animated talking and silently waiting on the Lord. 

When the offering began of the final faith pledges for each group, the sense in the air was that we were helping to shape history. As the commitments were tallied and the results were read out loud, shouts of joy and songs of praise rose from the people. 

It is extraordinary to see the faith that is generated in a group when people get a picture of what God is saying to the whole body gathered in the room and not just to their own denomination or organization. Each one realizes they have a significant part to contribute to a movement that will bring genuine transformation. 

The final scene of the congress had local Armenian leaders standing across the stage holding hands in unity and praying fervently for the fulfillment of the Great Commission in our lifetime.
