Armenia Update:
Today we jumped into the heart of the Call2All themes. One element that struck a strong chord was that of the
Unengaged, Unreached People Groups (UUPG’s). So many of the UUPG’s are situated within a radius of 1,000 miles of Armenia, that the leaders were gripped with the need and the potential for transformation if they responded to that need.
The discussion of this topic went past the allotted time as pastors and leaders asked more and more questions. There was a clear sense that this was far more than a human strategy but that God himself was speaking to their hearts.
Reverend Samvel Navoyan, who was the local coordinator of the event, was the most excited about 24/7 Houses of Prayer. The evening plenary was focused on
"Prayer that Changes Nations". Armenia has a rich history in prayer, which includes a heritage of 24/7 prayer that goes back 1600 years. This history was complimented by new information of prayer movements emerging around the globe. This blend of old and new was proposed as a formula for accelerating missions activity throughout this nation and the world.
Clearly this little nation is positioned perfectly to facilitate a move of God in the region.
