Call2All's global mobilizer, Martin Deacon, invites you to his home country of South Africa to be part of one of Africa's greatest sporting events ever! This will be a major missions opportunity as football fans from across the world gather in Johannesburg, home to the FIFA World Cup 2010.
Do you have a heart to reach the lost and hurting of the world?
Call2All partner, Turn The Tide Missions (tttMissions) is offering the opportunity to come and be part of short-term missions teams, in and around Johannesburg during the World Cup 2010.
Over 2 million of Johannesburg's inhabitants live in 'informal dwellings' and their future can look bleak. Showing Christ's love to these people, working hand in hand with local churches is just one of the ways you can work with tttMissions during the World Cup.
Other opportunities include:
- evangelism amongst the visitors from various nations
- soccer training for children
- home renovations amongst the poor
- planting vegetable gardens
- prayer walking
- evangelistic World Cup game screenings
- visits to an AIDS ministry and more
