The second day of the International Call2All Congress continued to build with more people and more content. The delegates were still buzzing about the day before and the various encounters they had with the Lord. Many were already saying that the events of the first day reshaped their mission’s thinking.
Paul Eshleman of Campus Crusade For Christ led the delegates through an examination of evangelism effectiveness while featuring a host of evangelistic tools. Congress attendees discussed setting new goals in global evangelization.
The evangelism round table was followed by a discussion of how to reach the final unengaged people groups of the world. Several delegates expressed the belief that there was enough Christian leaders in this Congress to take on all the remaining UUPGs in the world.
Later in the day the 75 workshops kicked off covering a wide range of the most pertinent missions topics in the world today. Top leaders in business, media, arts and education all shared on ways to transform their worlds. Leading pastors, evangelists, and heads of agencies also shared the latest and most effective methodologies.
The evening featured a focus on prayer, the kind that transforms and changes the destinies of nations. The delegates were called to make their life, home and organization a house of prayer. Led by the heads of prayer networks the 3,000 leaders interceded over the nations.
The final act of the second day was a walk on a giant map of the silk road. This 80 ft by 160 ft map featured the ancient trading routes from China to Israel with the least reached people groups listed along the way. Led by the Chinese delegation, Congress attendees held up lights as they walked from Beijing to Jerusalem. Looking at the hundreds of lights held up over Asia and the Middle East was truly a moving experience. Many in the arena moved back and forth between joyous laughter and tears of emotion realizing the potential of being part of a end time move of God.
