Thursday 26th March, Live Update From South American Call2All Congress, Curitiba, Brazil.

Around the tables this day, delegates gained insight about and discussed together their responses to the unengaged, unreached people groups, needs for evangelism and global prayer.

Having considered the last 3 of our 6 themes, they went into prayerful discussion about how they should respond to the strategic things they learned about in call2all.

Leaders gathered by their organizations and pondered what God would have them do between now and 2020. Sober but excited realization landed, that we are not just talking about the Great Commission but we are gathered here to do it.

With this background, the 350 delegates came together for an evening celebration along with another 1200 local believers. One of the most memorable highlights of each call2all is the offering of the commitments made by each of the organizations and denominations present. But this time we experienced something new.

The offering happened not only with the delegates gathered but with this larger expression of the body of Christ as witnesses. It was paradigm-shifting for many as they observed their leaders coming forward and making commitments regarding the Great Commission. For about 45 minutes, worship was interwoven with reports as the commitments were being tallied and projected on the large screens.

These corporate commitments ignited yet another level of personal response from all gathered that evening. After Loren Cunningham’s message on the power of the Word of God to transform nations, individuals came forward making their own commitments to be personally involved in reaching unreached people groups, starting prayer groups for the nations, going to an omega zone where they have never been before for gospel purposes, and for sharing their faith with others. Even some, for joining an oral bible team. They were no longer spectators of what the leadership had done, they were now participants too in this movement that is calling all to go and be involved in the Great Commission.
