Wednesday 21st January, Prayer And Missions
Mapping The Great Commission
“Knowing where we are and where we are not” was one of the thrusts to Christian leaders during the second day of the North American Call2All Congress in Dayton, Ohio. The morning session was dedicated to prayer and worship over the nations as leaders prayer walked a massive 60ft by 80ft map of the whole earth. Loren Cunningham, Founder of YWAM, led this time on Mapping The Great Commission which leaders responded to with great enthusiasm and strategy. Etienne Piek, the International Youth Coordinator for the Global Day of Prayer, facilitated discussions among leaders about prayer movements and the emerging generation.
Workshops
In the afternoon, workshops on topics such as “Bible and the Briefcase,” “21st Century Evangelism” and “Short Film Evangelism were well attended by participants wanting practical tools and information for transforming the way they do ministry.
Prayer That Changes Nations
Allen Hood, Daniel Lim and Stuart Greaves of the International House Of Prayer, Kansas City, shared with great passion about the growth and necessity of the modern day prayer movement. The need to be broken before our Father in Heaven. This will advance the coming of the Glory of the Lord here on earth. The prayer movement is not a movement on its own, but rather it is moving and working alongside the missions movement – they are today hand in hand, equally important and necessary to completing the Great Commission.
