What does your Bible mean to you? How do you use it in everyday life? What role does it play in your walk with Christ?

We read of the prophet Jeremiah “finding and eating the Word of God” in Jeremiah 15:16. Jeremiah writes, “Your Words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart.” But when we read the context – this eating is no afternoon snack in a time of pleasure, this is a sustaining meal in times of great adversity.

America seems to be a point in her history where such a meal, a feasting on the Word of God – is absolutely necessary. With economic woes in sight, wars and rumors of wars on the horizon – we must show our people where to find the “joy and delight of their heart.”

Remember the words of Deuteronomy 8:3 “…man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.”
