Dear  Friends,

Today hundreds of leaders gathered at the Nairobi Baptist church, in Kenya to attend the second Call2All Congress, and the first in Africa. Among them were some 60 Senior Pastors and Bishops and 40 professionals from different spheres of society.

The Congress kicked off on the 14th October and will run till 18th October 2008.

Delegates from surrounding East African countries such as Uganda, Tanzania, DRC and Sudan among many others were represented.

Diversity of Worship

As the opening ceremony began, Nations to Nations in collaboration with House of Tephillah Ministries demonstrated wonderful expressions of the diversity through numerous cultural protocols. One of the outstanding pieces was the worship led by the indigenous Masai group of Kenya.

A Call To Consecration

Mark Anderson, President of Call2All spoke at the very start of the gathering about a call to consecration. In light of current global turmoil, he challenged the leaders to deny themselves, take up the cross and follow Jesus.

The Giftedness Of Africa

Loren Cunningham, the Co-Founder of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) spoke about “How to Disciple A Nation”. He emphasized the giftedness of Africa, going through all the seven spheres of society, highlighting the offering of Africa to the world, and the key leaders that have risen through the ranks in each sphere of society, from sports through to Church.

Other presenters lined up for the week include Paul Eshleman, Vice President for Coverage, Campus Crusade for Christ; David Hamilton, Architect of 4K Technology; Avery Willis, International President of the Orality Network; Samuel Chiang, alongside other international and regional presenters.

As the first day concluded, there was a great sense that it was a Spirit led and inspired time.

Expect more updates in the coming days as the discussions, strategizing and prayer gets underway.

Until All Are Reached

Every Blessing
