Dear Friends,

Speaking during day three of the Congress, one prominent leader said that after more than 50 years of ministry he’s never seen all of these groups together in such a way. With 163 organizational presidents, leaders and CEOs, and many different denominations represented across the hundreds of other Christian leaders here in Orlando the Lord has been much in evidence.

Jack Hayford, addressing the Congress said that “banding together is not an agreeable thing to do--it is binding on us.” That we are at a prophetic moment in history was the word brought by Jack Hayford. Now is the time to re-focus on the essentials, for more click here.

Here is just a taster of the momentous past few days:

Congress prays and discusses innovative ways to completely reach the world

The second day of Call2All commenced with a cutting-edge presentation of the latest technological tool for missions which maps the world into 4000 omega zones (4k). David Hamilton, architect of project 4k presented a new framework for seeing the world and responding to its needs. “If we do not know the names, we cannot place them on the map, and we cannot pray, therefore we cannot go” said Hamilton.

Building Church Planting Movements

Bobby Welch (former president of the Southern Baptist Convention), spoke on “Building Church Planting Movements” cautioning the congress saying that “if we fail now, it will lead to the greatest collective sin of any generation."

Avery Willis (Orality Network) and Bill Fudge (former member of the International Mission Board) shared about exciting stories of explosive church growth movements in some oral cultures like India where laymen are rapidly reproducing churches.

Web 2.0

During the evening meeting, David Ash (Creator of YAAWAY online community site) shared about Web 2.0. He stated that online social networks exemplify the concept. “A blog is born every second and 100 billion times a day a webpage is clicked by someone” said Ash.

Global Prayer Movement

Global prayer movements that are sweeping the planet. Mike Bickle (Director of International House of Prayer), Graham Power (founder, Global Day of Prayer) and Lou Engle (co-founder of The Call) testified how from Cape Town to Kansas City, powerful prayers are increasing every day in staggering numbers. Engle declared that the Church is in a “Joel 2” moment in history right now, and it is progressively moving towards a global awakening.

Evangelism, Luis & Kevin Palau

At the evening session, Vonette Bright, co-founder of Campus Crusade for Christ since 1951 and Global Pastors Network was welcomed on stage and appreciated for life-time Christian work and impact on countless number of lives through her and her husband Bill Bright’s outstanding leadership and service.

Luis and Kevin Palau shared about how evangelism can transform and change nations. “Except you connect evangelism with deep involvement with society, you will not get a chance to preach the gospel. The greatest gift we can give people is the gospel” said Luis Palau.
